Willibald Nöthen founded NWS in 1973 with the express idea of “…combining function, quality and design”. As a long-time employee in the German tool industry, he created a company that embraced the tradition of high-quality German tools, but steered it into the future with improvements in safety, ergonomic design, and environmental compatibility.
