About Orbis Tools

Orbis was founded in 1929 as “Orbis Werkzeugfabrik” in Solingen, Germany, one of the centers of the German tool industry. Today, Orbis is a sister company of Knipex, producing tools for Knipex as well as its own ergonomically advanced line of pliers and cutters. Orbis manufacturers all of their tools in their Ahaus, Germany facility, and all products come with a lifetime warranty.
