BERGER has been operating in Wuppertal-Cronenberg since 1919 and is currently run by Ina and Julian Berger, fourth generation descendants of the founder. While known for decades as a manufacturer of original equipment for other tool brands, recently the company increased its production of high-quality cutting tools under its own BERGER brand name, and more than 90 percent are manufactured in its own operation in Wuppertal. A guiding principle in the design of their tools is close cooperation with professionals in the field. Not only is each tool perfectly suited to the task at hand, but replacement parts for those that inevitably wear are guaranteed to be available for at least ten years from the introduction of the product.
