    Combo pliers

Posted by Vinny on Sep 16th 2018

My son's going to Hvac school and I want him to have good tools. Looking at hand tools a linesman plier is something electricians and Hvac people seem to use a lot. Most linesman pliers are very large which makes sense but Hvac needs may be different (no multiple 10 Guage wire needing twisting) and I figured I would get a slightly smaller pair. I liked the idea that this has serrations to hold nuts toward the fulcrum point which a lot of pliers don't have. It's insulated which is great incase a cut to a live circuit happens and I saw a review on the NWS version (this may be exactly the same) and it worked great. And the cost of this vs a Knipex or Klein is a money saver or can get another tool for about the same price. I have never bought Felo tools but a lot of good things are said about them, hopefully these will hold up.

    Great Product

Posted by Ross B on Dec 13th 2017

Pliers are great - cut through 10-3 like butter, I am not a professional electrician but I am a one hell of a home owner. I recently purchased a house and rewired it from old BX cable. These guys came in handy cutting the old wire (not the casing), installing and cutting new wire was a breeze. If you ever worked with cheap pliers you will know the value of a great product.
