I work underground in the subway system product was no good on Transit insulation haven’t tried it on thhn
Very fluid and easy to use, works well in tight spaces.
I'm so happy I got this wire strippers, they are small but powerful , just the right tool everyone should have in their tool bag.
This has become my go-to wire stripper for everything from home wiring to electronics projects. Quick, repeatable stripping action. It struggles a little with fine-gauge teflon insulated wires, but going slowly and making sure the wire is seated properly makes for a clean strip. Felo should make a holster for this guy.
Works great works every time.
I love the design of these. They remind me of a giant dragon zord mouth from a 90s Saturday morning show. I thought having an all plastic body would make these fragile, but that’s not the case. I’ve thrown them in my bag in and out and no damage yet. 7/5 would buy again.
I bought this wire stripper 11 months ago, have been using it while wiring my house I am building. It has been FANTASTIC ... until yesterday, when it fell apart in the middle of stripping some wire. Felo has a lifetime warranty, so it will be replaced free of charge, though I am in the middle of wiring and now have to use my not so effective "regular" wire strippers. I would give the Felo a 5 star except for it struggles about 10% of the time with 12 gauge wire, AND as I said, it fell apart yesterday.
Actually bought these for my Dad to use on the wiring for his HO trains. He regularly uses 22 to 24 AWG. These strippers easily cut and strip both those size wires. I tested on some 16 AWG primary wire and these strippers had no issue with either cutting or stripping. I did find the strippers do not work well with teflon coated wire, but work amazingly for PVC coated wires. Also, I'm a little leary of the 10 AWG claim. I was just barely able to cut 12 AWG, but caused the strippers to flex quite a bit. I would probably use a different wire cutter for 10 AWG or a proper cable shear. Overall, a great product, will want to pick up a unit for myself in a the near future!
Simply WOW At first moment it became my favorite tool Easy to use and saves time Irreplaceable when it comes to small places where regular stripper will not fit
