    I was expecting better, they are good but not always I've been using them since about a week and at times they can't strip off 12 gauge new wire insulation. On 18 gauge of ballast wires they cut it but don't take it off completely.

    I threw these in with my order because I was getting tired of constantly guessing wire gauge size and placement with my old style strippers. These performed flawlessly giving me perfect results with no guessing. They also don't damage the wires inside as my old strippers did. I didn't toss my old strippers but I doubt that I'll ever be reaching for them when I have the Felo's around

    Very very well on stranded and well on solid core wire. Works better on smaller sizes- 14awg and smaller.

    This is the best wire stripper I have ever used. I recently purchased a IRWIN VISE-GRIP Multi-Tool Wire Stripper/Crimper/Cutter and it did not work on 12 gauge wire at all. The Felo strips beautifully! I am not sure it would work on 10-gauge (I did not have any to test it on), but does a great job on 12. I highly recommend it! AND it has a 15 year warranty! Unheard of these days!

    Never going back! This is the way to strip stranded wire, works just as well on solid core. The wire cutter could be a bit more robust. The mechanism is smooth and lightweight. I love it. R

    Pretty good for smaller wires

    Works best on smaller wires, 20-14 AWG, wire cutter only cuts small wires. When trying to strip/cut larger wires the whole thing flexes too much for my liking, it will strip 10-12 gauge wires but might struggle doing so. Best to use it for lighter duty wiring, stranded 18-20 gauges work the best in my experience
