    The best option of #12/14 slotted head screws

    If you are driving #12/14 slotted bits, you need a 1.6 MM thick blade. This bit fits perfectly in the slot so it does not slip out and ruin your work. The width is 3/8 (9.525mm) which is as wide as the screw head and wider than the Wera and Wiha bits. I purchased the Wera 056045 and the Wiha 74069 in addition to this bit. The Felo is my favorite because it is 3/8" wide, 2" long and built like a tank. The picture on the web site is not accurate. The actual bit is larger in diameter at the tip than the shank. I drove 36 #14 black slotted screws that were very tight and I didn't even scratch the paint or experience one cam-out.
