With an insert combination of medium rubber composition and hard superplastic, the SIMPLEX soft-face 60mm mallet is perfect for a variety of tasks including landscaping, gardening, and timber framing.
Boasting an ingenious shape, the rubber insert with “stand-up” allows the hammer to stand securely on its head and reduces the need to bend over, making it possible to work in a much more ergonomic and back-friendly manner.
Ultra low-wear, impact cushioning and odorless, the proven rubber blend offers a much longer service life than a conventional rubber hammer.
The white superplastic insert allows for a more powerful impact force than the rubber insert.
Set also contains two replacement inserts: one TPE-soft (soft, non-marring) and one TPE-mid (medium hard, non-marring), which are perfect for laying natural stones and the positioning of beams without leaving behind any annoying black rubber marks.

Halder/Picard will not warranty items that are deemed misused, abused, or have been worn out through normal use.
This includes:
-Halder replaceable face inserts, as they are made to wear and be replaced. UNLESS the insert cracks or breaks under circumstances other than normal wear.
-Wood handles that break from normal use.
-Worn milling on faces or scratched or dented heads and necks from "mis-hits" or overstrikes.
-"Mushroomed" steel faces.
-Hammers that have been used improperly or left out in the elements.
-Hammer claws that have broken due to prying materials other than nails.
-Hammers that sides have been used as the striking surface.
