      Hex portion is good length - not too long. Bought for Jetta oil drain plug and fits well. The coated bit sockets by Hazet are very good.

      I tried using a 8mm bit to do the job of a proper hex socket. Hazet has a full contact for keeping bolt heads clean and unmarred. Go big the first time and make it a tool for life

      I needed a super high quality socket for a job that required extra torque. This socket lived up to its made in Germany quality. I never had a problem and was able to finish my job that lesser quality sockets couldn't do!
