Works great. This ratchet is a big improvement over the standard Hazet 916SP.

      Determined Performance

Realistically you won't get the full 1000nm due to its length (slightly over 10 1/2 inches) But think of it as a guarantee of the strength of the thing, and it does feel solid during use. More enticing is a 4 degree swing arc in a 1/2" ratchet. The relatively short length coupled with this short swing arc makes it ideal for tight suspension work. Getting it into these spaces the grip is going to bang on things from time to time but after several instances of this I have no gouging in the grip material. The blue parts are molded plastic and the black is a hard tacky rubber. A little tough to clean. Feels comfortable and I like how it contours with the rest of the handle as well (easy to choke up on it when needed). After some use I can say that I'm 100% satisfied.

      Die Geheimwaffe!

Hazet's latest, greatest, work of art. The 1000nm rating is rather a moot feature, never would you require that much force with a tool of this length. The socket or work piece most likely would not be able to withstand that much torque. I think the greater achievement is accomplishing this with a 90-tooth gear. Nevertheless, a very robust design that installs confidence and will last a lifetime. The teeth feel, and sound, very strong. Low return angle and good backdrag. The handle design is similar to the previous versions with the tapered shaft, but with the addition of slots in the grip rather than a smooth surface. It also introduces a hanging hole into the handle. Ball detent, but no push button release as this would introduce a weakness into the design. Excellent machining and finish as you would expect from Hazet.
