Amazing Pliers!

This is an excellent adjustable pliers wrench! The size is relatively small. Carefully consider which size is appropriate for your needs. I have nothing to critique with this tool, except the price tag. While this is a higher quality product, one can buy a similar product domestically for half the cost. I'm really looking forward to finding as many uses as possible for this little pliers wrench!

It's got nice small increments of adjustment and the jaws stay parallel - that was obvious before the purchase. What surprised me was using them with a lot of torque. With other pliers, you get that extra pressure on your hand when you torque a stubborn fastener as the jaws want to open as they creep around the corners of the fastener. This isn't the case with these bad boys. You squeeze them onto the fastener, apply torque, and they really feel more like a wrench. I need more sizes now.

My 10" pliers wrench is one of all-time-favorite, go-to tools and I wanted something smaller. This delivers. It is extremely handy for a variety of functions, including some you might not immediately think of (this thing is awesome for tin bending, who knew a "wrench" would be so handy for standing seam roofing?). Because this serves the role of an entire set of wrenches, this tool excels in situations where you want a minimal toolkit, and the 7" size and smaller handle design are ideal for carrying around. It is large enough to be useful but still small enough to occupy minimal pouch space. I own a 5" Cobra and generally find it way too small to be useful, but I think the 7" size really hits a sweet spot. I am a big fan of the Knipex multi-grip handles but this particular tool is well served by the red plastic. This is not usually a tool you are putting tons of palm force into, so it is comfortable enough. It's a little cheaper than the multigrip, but the big benefit is that it is much, much smaller in terms of width. If you ever pocket this or carry it in a pouch, you will appreciate the slimmer handles. This has the grippy rough-texture plastic, not the glossy red vinyl "plasti-dip" style handles I have on some of my Knipex tools (which I do not like at all). Overall this is costly but wow, do you ever get what you pay for. This one will serve you for life. I'm 100% stoked on this purchase, I think it might be my single favorite Knipex tool.

I think this 7 inch version is great for everyday carry. It is incredibly light. If it weren't for the price, I'd carry 2 of them. My only criticism I have would be the plastic covering the thumb area. That kind of defeats the whole point of them as it gives a weird bump when I actually use them. Other than that, it's really comfortable

Amazingly strong wrench for its size, its slender jaws and compact length make it easier to bite down firmly in tight spaces. I paired this little guy up with my 10in Knipex pliers wrench and the 7in can keep up with the 10in for most of what I encounter, making for a great versatile combination.
