    Knipex 975314 hex ferrule crimpers

Posted by David on Feb 24th 2023

These have worked well for me, on many different sizes, from 8ga. power wire to 18 ga. signal wire, mainly, with a dozen or so 22ga. crimps. I experimented with some 26ga. wire, and was able to get good results once I figured out a process to consistently get good alignment with the small ferrules and wire. I haven't performed a huge volume of crimps with them, but after about 200 crimps in the larger/midrange rated sizes of the tool, they are still quite consistently good crimps.
