These have already saved me a few times. Well made and good adjusting sizes. You need this screw extraction plier in your tool box

Another.great plier from Knipex. With a broken screw or rusted fastener this is the plier for you.

Posted by Denitson Brisita on May 14th 2022

When I had to remove a broken, stripped or really rusted out fastener I would struggle with various ViceGrip pliers . But the teeth were parallel and the screw did not always move. Then I moved on to Engineer brand vice grip style which had the special length wise teeth in the jaws which was new. The teeth are also slightly cylinder shaped inside the jaws. But it was a pain to keep tightening the bolt to get it to grab tight enough. Finally I tried 4:different size Vampliers designed in Japan which had the same length wise teeth and cylinder shaped teeth designed to grasp stripped screws etc. They are for smaller hands and it is hard to get tremendous leverage on them. These Knipex are the perfect solution. They are for medium to larger hands. As long as some part of the Broken or rusted fastener is sticking out these can grab it. They can grab it from both front and side positions. They can also grab much larger fasteners. Knipex is known for really sharp teeth and hardened steel. With the adjustable pivot hinge you can open these wider than the above pliers, They generate tremendous force and holding power without any flex in the handles. You may not think you need them but you will be glad you do when the next fastener refuses to cooperate, Get them now.

    AMAZING!

I just don’t know what for. I’m a vehicle mechanic and I have yet to find a great use for these, but i tried gripping various things and they bite into it really well, which, for some things may be great but be careful if you’re grabbing something you DONT want teeth marks in. My one consistent use for it is to remove stuck on tire valve caps because the heads opening on the twingrip is slightly round giving you nice full-coverage grip. I own a few other knipex products, and I think that I personally prefer the standard handle over comfort grip, but for the twin grip I think it is a Must that this particular tool has the comfort grip. All in all, it’s a good feeling tool in the hand, I can see it coming in handy in the future, but it can’t be a replacement for most pliers, so if you buy it know it’s going to be for specialty use only.

    Knipex Pliers

Posted by MisterTee on Nov 18th 2021

This is my second pair of Knipex pliers and they're consistently excellent. The adjustable jaws open wider than cheaper big-box alternatives and the tolerances and workmanship are superb. Worth the extra few dollars versus lesser alternative.
