Knipex Lifetime Limited Warranty

Knipex-Werk manufactures and Knipex Tools LP distributes the highest quality tools for industrial and commercial use. In the unlikely event that the exact type of tool should no longer be available, Knipex may elect to replace the tool with a comparable tool of equal or greater value, or at Knipex Tools LP’s option, Knipex Tools LP may elect to refund the purchase price for the defective tool. The foregoing remedies are the sole and exclusive remedies available under this warranty, and in no event will Knipex-Werk or Knipex Tools LP be liable for incidental, special, or consequential damages, lost profits or other economic loss.

This warranty applies only to the original end-user that purchased the tool, and does not apply in any way to failures caused by misuse, abuse, alteration, accident, or tools worn out by use.

Warranty claims require return of the defective tool, proof of purchase, and confirmation from you that you are the original end-user purchaser of the tool. All shipping and transportation costs are excluded from this warranty.

THIS WARRANTY IS KNIPEX-WERK’S AND KNIPEX TOOLS LP’S SOLE WARRANTY FOR ITS TOOLS, AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. KNIPEX-WERK and KNIPEX TOOLS LP DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABLE QUALITY, MERCHANTABILITY, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Knipex-Werk and Knipex Tools LP neither assumes, nor authorizes any person to assume for it, any other warranty, condition, or obligation express or implied.

Wera Limited Lifetime Warranty

All Wera professional hand tools are covered by a lifetime warranty against breakage due to defects in materials or workmanship for the normal life of the product. This policy does not cover products which have been altered in any way, and products which have been subject to abuse, misuse, negligence, or improper storage. Bits, bitholders and L-keys are also not covered under this warranty policy as they are considered consumable. Wera Tools reserves the right to inspect warranty claims before replacements are issued. Return transportation costs are not included, however Wera will send replacement tools at no cost. Any claims for reasons other than those noted here must be approved by Wera Tools Inc.

Wera torque products are warrantied up to 5,000 torque cycles within one year of purchase.

Gedore Limited Lifetime Warranty

  1. GEDORE warrants to Customers who purchase a Product from the GEDORE catalogue, website or an authorized GEDORE dealer for use in their profession that the Product will be free from defects in workmanship and materials. GEDORE brand torque control tools are warranted for twelve (12) months from date of purchase and up to 5,000 torque cycles (whereafter GEDORE recommends re-calibration). Consumable Products are warranted only against defects in workmanship or materials that prevent their use. For purposes of this Warranty, Consumable Products are defined as those Products which are reasonably expected to be used up or damaged during use, including without limitation drill bits, saw and knife blades, grinding and sanding discs, knife blades, files, sensors and batteries. This Warranty extends only to the original Customer and may not be transferred or assigned to any third party.

  2. GEDORE, at its option, will repair or replace Products due to defects in workmanship or materials, or provide a refund by repaying or crediting Customer with an amount equal to the purchase price of such Products. The repair, replacement or refund of the Products shall be at the election and expense of GEDORE, and shall be Customer's sole and exclusive remedy, in lieu of any and all other rights and remedies which Customer may otherwise have. To obtain Warranty service, Customer shall follow the Return of Product procedures set forth in Paragraph 6 below. GEDORE is not responsible for Products which are lost or damaged during return. It is recommended that Customer: (1) send the returned Product with a tracking or delivery confirmation number; (2) use a carrier offering shipment tracking for all returns; and (3) either insure the Product during shipment or declare the full value of the shipment so that Customer is protected if the Product is lost or damaged during shipment. GEDORE is not liable for the repair, replacement or refund of a Product without valid proof of purchase or delivery.

  3. The Warranty described above applies only when the Product has been subject to normal use, and does not cover defects or failures resulting from abnormal use, unreasonable use, misuse, abuse, accident, alteration, modification, neglect, lack of maintenance, use after the Product is significantly worn, or when repairs to the Product have been made or attempted by persons other than GEDORE (collectively, "Abuse"). By repairing, replacing or providing a refund on a Product, GEDORE does not waive a claim that a Product was subject to Abuse.

Felo Lifetime Warranty

All Felo products are guaranteed for life. If you are not happy with a Felo tool - for any reason - simply return it. A replacement will be shipped out at no cost (with proof of original purchase).

*Bits are not covered as they are considered a consumable item.

HAZET Limited Lifetime Warranty

All HAZET products are manufactured in sophisticated, highly specialized factories from the finest materials available, to the highest possible quality standards and are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship.
KC Tool at its discretion will repair or replace HAZET tools with proper proof of purchase that meet the warranty guidelines.

Hazet Warranty Exclusions:

Adapters
Parts designed to wear (e.g. ratchet internals)
Tools with a deformed shape from load abuse or alteration
Tools showing signs of "hammering" damage
Excessive wear and tear beyond reasonable service life
Damage from heat or welding
Damage from cutting edges or gripping teeth resulting from use on hardened materials
Damage from arcing with hot wires
Worn PVC grips and handles
Abuse caused from incorrect use or application

STABILA Limited Lifetime Warranty

Spirit Levels
Warranty Overview for the United States and Canada.
STABILA spirit levels will maintain their stated accuracy for life. The fixed vials on all STABILA levels will not fog, leak, or become inaccurate. If they do, you will be given a new level.
Vials that are melted due to excessive heat (example: welding) are not covered under the warranty policy. Bent or damaged frames void warranty.

Laser and Tech (Electronic) Levels
We will repair, without charge, any defects due to faulty materials or workmanship for two years from the date of purchase. Must have copy of receipt for after sale service.

Accessories: Tape Measures, Tripods, Cases, Grade Rods, Etc.
30 Day Warranty against manufacturer defects from the date of purchase.

Moving Parts, I.E. protractor vials, and the extending portion of Plate and XtL levels are not covered under the lifetime guarantee.
Levels with an extension arm that are used on a daily basis require annual user maintenance. We offer an easy to install "maintenance kit" (part #33000) available through your local Stabila dealer that provides all of the slide bearings, lock parts, a new tension spring, wrenches and instructions to renew your slide assembly in less than five minutes.

STAHLWILLE Warranty

Stahlwille Tools purchased through KC Tool come with a lifetime warranty against material defects or faulty workmanship except for consumable items such as screwdriver bits and socket adapters.

Stahlwille torque products are subject to a separate warranty that has guidelines and regulations on repair labs that have been authorized by Stahlwille to perform service and calibration.

The warranty for both torque and non-torque products is void if the tool is tampered with, abused, or used in a manner that is not intended by the manufacturer (i.e. using chrome sockets on an impact gun).

NWS Limited Lifetime Warranty

All NWS tools are covered under warranty for a 5 year period. KC Tool will extend this to a limited lifetime warranty, if the NWS products are purchased from KC Tool. These policies do not cover products which have been altered in any way, and products which have been subject to misuse, abuse, or improper storage. KC Tool, at its discretion, will repair or replace any NWS tool that meets the warranty guidelines.

HEYCO Warranty

All HEYCO tools are carefully tested before leaving their facility and carry a lifetime guarantee. Any tool indicating faults of material or workmanship will be replaced free of charge. This does not apply to tools that have failed due to abuse, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

Halder, Inc./Picard Warranty

Halder, Inc./Picard will guarantee its hammers and striking tools for the lifetime of the tool. This is not to be confused with a "lifetime guarantee". The guarantee is that if a product should break due to faulty materials or workmanship, it will be replaced, and such determination will be left to the discretion of KC Tool or Halder, Inc./Picard.

Halder/Picard will not warranty items that are deemed misused, abused, or have been worn out through normal use.
This includes:
-Halder replaceable face inserts, as they are made to wear and be replaced. UNLESS the insert cracks or breaks under circumstances other than normal wear.
-Wood handles that break from normal use.
-Worn milling on faces or scratched or dented heads and necks from "mis-hits" or overstrikes.
-"Mushroomed" steel faces.
-Hammers that have been used improperly or left out in the elements.
-Hammer claws that have broken due to prying materials other than nails.
-Hammers that sides have been used as the striking surface.

Halder / Picard products are considered the highest quality found anywhere on the market. We stand behind them 100%. If you feel that this product has failed due to reasons other than normal wear, please reach out to us at KC Tool.

BERGER Warranty

Berger will guarantee its products for the lifetime of the tool. This is not to be confused with a "lifetime" guarantee. The guarantee is that if a product should break due to faulty materials or workmanship on our part, it will be replaced. Berger will not warranty items that are deemed misused, abused, or have been worn out through normal use. This will be left to the discretion of the direct Berger distributor or reseller and/or Berger Tools USA.

Berger will NOT guarantee these examples or for the following reasons:
-Berger tool components such as blades, counter blades, springs, bumpers (shock absorbers) are deemed as consumables and are not covered. However, if an issue out of the ordinary occurs with these parts, the product will be covered.
-Wood handles that break from normal use.
-Worn or dented aluminum handles or rubber grips.
-Rusty tools.
-Tools that have been used improperly or left out in the elements.
-Modified tools.

WITTE Lifetime Warranty

WITTE Tools offers a Lifetime Warranty. The Lifetime Warranty does not cover damages from misuse, abuse, accidents, lack of maintenance, or normal wear and tear. WITTE insert bits, bitholders and L-keys are not included in this warranty policy. We will repair or replace any tool that is classified as defective in material or workmanship. If your tool is no longer available, WITTE Tools may elect a replacement with a comparable tool of equal specification.

Wiha Tools No Hassle Guarantee

Please note: KC Tool is no longer a dealer of Wiha Tools. If the tool in question was purchased from us we will do our best to find a replacement. Otherwise please contact Wiha Tools directly.

Wiha branded tools are regarded as the most durable, best designed and highly innovative products around. Our tools are used by demanding professional tradespeople and tool aficionados alike. They are meant to be used and utilized often. However, if you are not happy for any reason return them within 12 months of purchase with proof of purchase and we will Repair or Replace.

Rest assured, if for some reason there is a defect in material or workmanship we will replace your tool free of charge for as long as you own the tool.

Failures due to misuse, abuse or normal wear and tear are not covered by this guarantee. We stand by our products with what we believe is the best No Hassle Guarantee in the industry.

Exclusions
Wiha Tools has the right to exclude bits, Tweezers and Ceramic Screwdrivers. These products are either consumable or wear easily. Legal
Some areas do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This guarantee gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary, from state to state, province to province, or country to country.

This No Hassle Guarantee is the sole and exclusive guarantee for the Willi Hahn Corporation dba Wiha Tools. No employee, agent, dealer, or other person is authorized to alter this guarantee or make any other guarantees on behalf of Wiha Tools.
