    Solid, high quality hand tools

NWS Combination Pliers is a well designed tool, it is ergonomically designed for a tight grip while gripping and cutting. The teeth and cutting edges are solid and provide a tight grip and clean cuts. The red and gray colors make it easy to locate in a tool bag or work bench.

NWS pliers I've found are the best combination of quality, price, and comfort, easily my favorite to use in hand. These combi pliers are super tough!

Really versatile set of features on the jaws, covers so many other tools. Great price too! Takes a couple days of use to break in smoothly but then the action is as nice as knipex

Great quality, great cutting power, very comfortable to use.

These are excellent pliers that I am happy to have bought. They look and feel high quality and have lasted excellently through half a year of ownership. The grips are extremely comfortable and give me plenty of traction. Maybe my only complaint was a stiff hinge when I first got them - however, after a small break-in period, its now wonderfully smooth. The pliers jump open with just a little flick of the wrist, but the joint feels sturdy and well built.

    Good pliers

After using the 8" pliers, I wanted a slightly smaller pair to complement them. These are good pliers. Cutters work well, and they are probably a better overall size than the 8" version.

As I said in other review for the smaller pliers, whichever of the combination pliers they have in stock are awesome. The 7" is the best compromise size (with the 6.5" being to dainty for heavier tasks, and the 8" being to heavy for dainty hands). If you have a chance, flip through the ad copy or a catalog from NWS. Pretty much all of the gimmicks have been put to the test by me. The gimmicks are features, and they do the job. I think they're the best general purpose pliers available. But that's just my opinion, man.
