    Wow! I wasn't sure I would like them, but after trying them on multiple projects this past weekend, I'm a definite fan. I found myself wanting to use them instead of my regular all-purpose pliers. I felt like I had more detail control of them. Good strong grip. The front tip is flat so I could really grab staples or broken nails, as well as turn heads of bolts/nuts, and cut wire all with the same tool. The ergonomic design is the key to this set, and like I said, I felt like it gave me more detail control. This is the VDE version, and it was nicer working without fear of my hand sliding right into the box trying to push wires back. Anyways, good stuff & worth a try!

    I have had this and the non-VDE versions both are great. The stopper at the top will stop you from doing stupid human tricks by giving you a positive stop at the top. If you are not using these for electrical the standard are the way to go. So just depends on what the intended purpose is. They do cost more than traditional pliers and do take some getting used to but after you get used to them they will be the only ones you will use.

    Extremely high quality, like all German tools. To my knowledge, NWS is the only company with this pistol grip design. This ergonomic shape makes a big difference when stuffing electrical boxes and the insulation is a significant bennie. Highly recommend.

    Having the advantage of the offset angle really makes these pliers the better choice for vertical (wall mounted) installations. The wide tip makes grabbing onto objects easy, and the grip zone adjacent to the cutters allows you to grab onto round objects as well as hex head bolts up to ø7/16”. The matte finish is nice and the grips are very comfortable.

    Great tool while in a pinch

    I like how you can hold a wire with this and not be in the way of you screw driver or Allen wrench. Plus the locking mechanism doesn’t spring back on its own. Great tool
