    Great to use!

I use this in the field and it’s great for working in tight spaces with the number of teeth it has. Ergonomic handle is great too.

    Well built and tight tolerance

This ratchet is phenomenal. Well built and it has heft to it. Long enough to get some real leverage on stuck nuts. The gear is tight and allows for operation in some tight spots.

    Ratchet

Really nice ratchet. I would have given it 5 stars but it doesn't appear this ratchet is able to be rebuilt.

    Finally a Good Rachet

I upgraded my 30 year old craftsman ratchets. I love the Wera. Nice feel, nice heft, and the Wera logo in the details.

    PERFECT

This little guy is awesome! Tight tolerances on everything and the large number of teeth give me options when working in tight places. The texture is also really easy to clean and the locking function means I'll never lose another socket when banging around my engine compartment.

    Right on Par

The 3/8” drive ratchet is right on par with the 1/4” I already own except it is superior in one area. The size of the wrench makes it even more comfortable than it’s smaller brother and inasmuch makes it my choice for certain applications. The only drawback is of the smallest variety in that I wish it were an inch shorter. The length is what honestly makes me have to use the 1/4” drive in certain areas but if it were an inch shorter I could just stick exclusively with the 3/8 drive.

Slim feel, long handle with fine action

This ratchet has a nice slim feel compared with others I've owned, which I like. The ratchet action is very fine with minimal 'wobble'. Release is firm enough not to accidentally push but easy to use. Reversing lever is easy to use but firm enough not to bump accidentally. Great ratchet!

    Must-have ratchet for mechanics.

I bought the 3/8" Wera Zyklops Metal ratchet about a month ago and put it to the test. I've used it almost every day in the shop under very harsh conditions. This is one tough tool. I figured since German engineering is top notch, I'd put this tool through it's paces and abuse it a little and it exceeded my expectations. Aside from it's superb durability, it performs excellent. The matte finish feels great to the touch and holds up great as far as I can tell. It's a very thin ratchet with a low profile and narrow head which makes it great for working in cramped engine bays. The handle swells near the bottom in width and profile, making it very comfortable to use. It's 72 teeth make loosening fasteners in tight spots a breeze. The mechanism has very little back-drag, so it will still ratchet even on loosened bolts. The anvil holds sockets very tight, so there is little wobble. The lever works great, it never sticks and it moves between forward and reverse very easily - it's the smoothest lever I've used. It's also shaped like Wera's logo which is a nice detail, it shows their dedication to their product and attention to design. It also make operating the lever easier when you try to thumb it with oily hands. It's recessed so you won't accidentally reverse it while working on a car. The only drawback I could see is the laser-etched writing as opposed to the engraved markings typically used for American tools. But the writing hasn't worn or faded as of yet.
