Didn't know what I was missing.

This was my first Plus Minus tip screwdriver and I am glad I went with this one. First the handle is beefy but just the right size for my hand. Secondly the slim tip comes in real handy for recessed terminal screws that I run into on audio amps.

Where has this been my whole life?!

Posted by Jon on Nov 18th 2019

I did not know "plus/minus" or terminal drive was a thing until I ran into this browsing here on KC Tool. This driver is absolutely perfect. It's got the great Wera handle and a tip geometry that is spot-on perfect for American-style residential electrical receptacle terminal screws. Unlike a slotted, it won't slip off at odd angles, and unlike a Philips it won't strip the terminal screw when you crank it down. The tapered insulation sleeve stays out of its own way and feels great in the hands, especially in the cold. If you locked yourself in a monastery on a mountain for years devoting yourself completely to designing a screwdriver for installing electrical receptacles, this is what you would come up with if you were clever enough. If this sounds useful to you, do yourself a favor and buy it.

    Comfortable and versatile

Confortable to use, handy when installing light switches or as a back up Phillips driver. The slimline style makes it nice to fit in tight spots.

    Great tool for devices

Posted by Rob Withey on Sep 15th 2017

These plusminus screwdrivers are great for devices that come with screw terminals for both flat and Phillips. Particularly good for undoing tight screws. Narrow blade for getting in fingersafe devices and a great handle shape.
