    Great value, Excellent Screw Driver

Posted by Graeme Tofflemire on Nov 19th 2017

My new favourite screwdriver. Bought this to compare to my Snap-On driver. After only a few days of use I found the Wera provides a more engagement with the bolts and screws found on many bicycles. The grip feels great in the hands while not being overscaled. Overall, this is a great tool that is a pleasure to use everyday.

This is a well-crafted hand tool. Good balance, handle feels great in your hand and the tip has great holding power. I expect to have this screwdriver for a long time.

This was the first Wera tool I have purchased and love the laser etched tip. I will be going back a for a full set. Very happy with service from KC Tools also. I have bought from them before (Wiha tools) and I am never disapointed.

    The best...

Absolutely the best handheld phillips screwdriver I've ever owned. It has ridges cut into the tip to grip the screws to prevent cam-out. Handle is comfortable for both 'end spinning' and grip torque. Must have for anyone's tool collection.

The best phillips driver I've ever used

Posted by Glenn on Nov 19th 2015

I got hooked on German tools with a bunch of Knipex pliers and was originally disappointed to learn they don't make screwdrivers so I googled "German Hand Tools" and found KC tool. I first experienced Wera with their Kraftform Kompakt multi bit driver, which is one of my favorite tools, but it doesn't always fit into tight spots because of the rapidaptor tip. These more traditional fixed blade models with the laser tip "just" drive screws, but they excel at it. I walk around at work showing people how they'll stand straight out from a screw in the wall because they grip so well. I used to think you should splurge on complex tools with lots of moving parts and that for basic tools with no moving parts you could get away with cheap stuff. But using these drivers immediately makes you realize how important quality and attention to detail are. The laser tip and kraftform handle make driving so easy.
