    Maybe I am expecting too much from novelty gift, but i think the execution of the mini bit check was underwhelming. When the sockets are in the socket rail, the laser etching on the sockets should face forward in one of the 4 orientations. Instead, they are all facing about 45 degrees. Same type of issue with the hex bits, a lot of the labels on the bits will not fare forward when you put them in the bit check. The last issue I had was the ratchet + 1/4" adapter + socket. There is a lot of slop in each of these at each connection point so it is quite wobbly when all 3 are put together. I was expecting a better connection between the adapter and the socket.

    This is a really nice advent calendar. It's a quality gift for the man in your life. I really like the packaging, the Santa Claus looks very cheerful. I definitely recommend this product.

    Bought this item originally as agift for my father for Christmas. Could not resist the temptation of opening the items myself as it was shown on the back of the box in great detail just how awesome of a mini tool set it was. It is little mini set about half the size of the tool check Plus that lives in my EDC. I will be ordering another one of these or maybe two for gifts.

    Great mini tool-check

    The magic of Christmas is getting special-run tools from Wera (OK, maybe not just that, but it shouldn't be underrated). The mini tool-check case is great and the ratchet head for use in a 1/4" driver is a great little gizmo which should be available independently. I had another tool-check from which I cannibalized two socket holders from to get a couple extra sockets on it. The salt & pepper shakers are cute and quite functional, as they are adjustable from 1-5 holes. Mini bottle opener is nice. I threw the set shakers & bottle opener in my picnic kit for next season.
