Felo Smart Handle

The T handle function is amazing. Handle is very comfortable and overall a great product. The official bits for this handle though do not insert very deep and wobble a little bit more than I would like. But if you use regular 4" power bits its great. I also use a Wera locking bit adaptor then 1" bits and love it.

Tool arrived on time. It came in handy the first night I had it on shift as an industrial maintenance electrician. Helped me remove some stubborn stainless steel cap screws out of aluminum plate.

Great ergonomics and perfect for reducing footprint and weight. Each dual tip blade takes the place of 2 drivers without sacrificing function and ergonomics. Must have!

I have only used the Felo smart handle a few times since i have only had it for a week or so. But I have really enjoyed using it. It fits in my hand very well. It is a lot stronger then you would think when flipped out into a t handle. It converts into a t handle very easily. I am able to do so 1 handed which is nice. I would highly recommend this to anyone that sometimes just needs that little extra tore from a t handle but doesn't want to carry around numerous t handle tools and screwdrivers

Simple but high torque bit driver

Great execution and typical Felo high quality come together.

This easily replaced the T-handle I had in my tool bag. It's solid, excellent quality. When adding a 6‚" extension, the result is a full size in-line or T-handle driver! I particularly like that the articulating mechanism solidly locks in, whether in in-line or T-handle configuration. The handle itself doesn't use the lock-in quick release holder for bits, but the bit retention hole is deeply recessed and hold any extension tightly. I'm very happy with this purchase. It replaced two other tools in my bag and is saving me space and weight.

Great little driver! Gives you a little extra torque for finishing off screws or cracking them loose.

Awesome to have in a small tool bag if you don't want to carry a stubby and a t handle

Not intended for use with 1" long bits, but works well with power bits. The hex socket is too deep for the 1" bits. I just use a bit adapter with mine. You could cut a piece of 1/4" hex to work as a spacer too. This has a ball detent. It's visible in the picture if you look closely. No magnet.

I modified mine to take standards bits. No complaints about screwdriver mode. T handle mode is a little awkward compared to a dedicated T handle when trying to run down long bolts. I would consider this to be used to break stubborn hardware free and then switch to screwdriver mode. Neat tool. Great gift idea.

I love this handle. It works well with my Wera and Wiha power blade bits.

Overall great tool, but bits do fit with just a little bit of play. I'd kind of hoped they would seat perfectly. (I'm using Wiha Power Blade bits.)

I have used the Smart Handle a few times since its purchase. It is nice to have the ability to use the T grip to break fasteners free and go back to the normal handle with one tool. I agree with the reviews about the driver tip sinking into the holder when you need to apply some force to avoid the bit to cam-out of a fastener. I cut a piece of wood dowel to place in the hole to backup the bit. Overall, it is a nice/useful addition to my ratcheting Snap-On screw drivers.

This is a great tool to have in your bag. Works well as a T-Handle driver in a pinch. Bits fit tightly and the mechanism feels secure.

This is a great compact driver. It flips from straight to Tee handle and locks in both positions. I paired it with the Wiha 76094 4 Piece Phillips Power Blade Set to be able to remove plastic housings with deep recessed screws while working on mobility scooters.

I really love the Felo Smart Handle, and I highly recommend it. Some of the reviews point out it does not work with 1" insert bits--thought that might be a limitation, even if you could put them in, it would only make sense for using it as a very stubby screwdriver. Still, perhaps the description could be a bit more clear about what it works well for, and what its limitations are, so that people don't purchase it and then become disappointed.

What the handle works great for is power bits from any major manufacturer. I use it with bits from WIHA and WERA, and it seems great with those, though I have not had a chance to do a lot of real-world testing yet. What it does great is it can pretty well replace individual screwdrivers. This in my view makes it an ecologically responsible project--when the tip wears out, you don't have to jettison the handle--when the handle wears out, you don't have to get rid of the tips.

Also, importantly, since it works great with blades from a number of manufacturers, you can buy tips that serve your purposes--I for example like that I can get Wera Hex Plus tips for them, for working on my bicycle for example. Similarly, I can get really hard, precise tips from WIHA for working on electronics, and I can get long blades that fit into deep holes which is the other beauty of this sort of design.

Over time, I would like to see how good the pin is that it swivels on--my real question about this is ultimately how much torque it will survive. It has great leverage and if I can reef on it, I will totally love it for the long haul I think.

Everything said about this smart handle is true. Wish it had a magnetic holder IMO. Handle feels rigid yet firm, holder mechanism works flawlessly in both forms. Friendly reminder, when in T mode, be sure holder is locked in handle to secure placement. Will have more FELO's in my tool haul from now on.

This handle works really well as a screwdriver, but can be switched to the t-handle configuration - making it a great option for using torx and nut driver bits in situations requiring more leverage.

I mainly bought it as a low profile t-handle that can fold flat back in the drawer. Most t-handles get in the way, but this one can take the place of many with accepting any bit, and folds away! If the bit is a little tight, it may pull back out on you, I haven't worn it down yet to know if it stays down in the handle. As for being new, the lock detent feels very positive for now. The plastic is very durable and the the grip feels good in the hand. It's got some, but not too much weight to it. Overall it's a good versatile tool. Available in kits as well.

Bit holder is too deep. Depth of bit holder is approximately 1‚". The handle itself is well made. Fit, feel, & the option to use as a"T‚" handle out way the issue with the deep bit holder.

very solid feel. mechanicals seem precise and switching positions is easy with one hand.

This is very well made. The motion is smooth and it locks in position tightly. The one problem is that you need to use a long bit. A normal hex bit sinks too low in the shaft. I used a rapidor bit holder. Overall, it is a great product, but if you aren't using Felo's bits you will need a long bit extender.

Very nice driver handle. Feels great in the hand and after converting to a t-driver it feels pretty solid. Only thing i wish was that it had a better retention mechanism.

You have to be careful placing a bit in this tool as it will disappear down the shaft. Have to use a paperclip to get it out. Bit extension is required. Felo makes good tools and this one fits this expectation, except for the issue noted.

I like this handle. It is a regular handle and a t-bar in one. I wouldn't trust it for high torque, but for general use it works great.
