Knipex 6" Cobra Pliers - Plastic Grip

Knipex makes very nice pliers with many options. In MHO, this design far exceeds standard 'channel lock' type adjustable pliers. Well worth the $$, will last years.

Great tool in a compact size.

Great step up size of pliers from the mini water pump pliers and the 5" pliers. Just big enough for a full hand grip, but not too big to be cumbersome. Very hard and sharp jaws.

I love these knipex pliers for all around use between mechanic work to work around the house you always need a few different sizes of these. You cannot beat the quality and usability of knipex!

If you've had multiple generations of cobras, then you'll know there was a older version that wasn't slim like the modern ones. These 6‚" seem to be bulkier like the old style. Still great though.

I love the 125s. I like to keep them near me, because they are so surprising, so elegant, so well made. These 150s are substantially bigger, but to me they are just a solid tool—just another (nice) set of pliers in the tool box. I was surprised by how steep the enthusiasm falloff was.

Traveled with 5" Cobras for years until I realized TSA carryon limit is 7". These give you another half inch open jaw width [1.5" vs 1" for Cobra 5"] and breeze thru checkpoints. [Next size up looks a fraction over 7", so these are a safer choice]. Have used 5" for everything from pulling a nail from bike tire to fixing low-flow hotel shower head. The handles are dipped so no slipping with age. 5" are now in my underseat bike toolkit and these 6" took maiden trip with us through 3 airports last week: no issues. Outstanding quality.

Outstanding tool for travel: never a problem through TSA over the years Compact, but surprisingly wide 1" jaw opening: have used them for everything from extracting nail from bike tire to fixing a slow-flow hotel shower head. Handle coating is bonded so it won't slip around with time. Highest quality.

I rate most things a 4 if I don't have any issues with them and 5 if they are just the absolute best thing ever.

These are just as good as my 180 Cobra and my 150 and 180 pliers wrenches.

I'm a maintenance mechanic in a food plant and we have tools supplied to us, but I wanted to bring in some of my own stuff that I know will be better (the 180's for both the pliers wrench and Cobras went to work) so I bought the smaller 150's for at home. I don't have nearly as many uses around the apartment so I don't need a large set.

The 150's are much nicer for carrying around if I choose to toss them in a pocket and EDC them.

No complaints at all....except maybe the price but that's quality. These are ten times better than either the Irwin or Milwaukee versions that I also own (I have an addiction).

The 6" cobras are a perfect size for light duty maintenance items around the home or car. The fit in well in confined spaces and in the hand. Between my new 6" cobras and the 10" I already had, I am set for a long time.

Nothing better when it comes to pliers

This 150mm size Cobra is very handy. I find myself using this more than other pliers. Great in the pocket.

These are amazing!

I picked a pair of these up to complement some 10" ones I have. I think this size is better than the smaller ones - fits in the hand a bit better but not much larger.

The pocket sized mini-beast version of its bigger brother.I would recommend for a variety of uses due to A): its versatility of uses; B): its versatility of transport (this also unfortunately means that it can "grow legs & walk off"); & C): its Knipex quality.

Best pliers I've owned, push button is great, easy to use and strong. As decent as the Irwin style are, they feel like trash compared to these

I can very close to buying the 5‚" cobras. I am glad I bought the 6‚". These are very small but fit well in my hand. They are small enough to tuck into a small space in my tool bag but big enough to hand a tough job. They are well made.

I can't say enough good things about these pliers. They have been a part of my EDC for the past couple months and I'm constantly amazed at their versatility. I recently just moved and took apart the entire house with these bad boys and a Wera PH#2.

Nice little pliers. Been sticking them in my pocket for small projects as I move into a new house. Handy.

Most of the time, I find these to be pretty useless--BUT when you do need them, they are a lifesaver.

My second pair of cobras (I also have the 10 in version). These are great. The smaller size is more portable, while still having well over an inch capacity.

I haven't has a single issue with these pliers! They are great and have excellent grip.
