Nice quality chisel, really thin

Using this for splitting sedimentary stone. Great steel. Tough, but not brittle and holds a dressed edge well.

I used this chisel to bust through the mortar layers on a sandstone block stair. The thin profile made it a bit easier cutting into the mortar, but you sacrifice a little on the handhold. The thin bar started to wear out my hand after a few hours with a 1250g club hammer. Also helped get the mortar off of a concrete patio to put in the replacement steps. Maybe not the best tool for the job, but it outlasted my Campbell Hausfeld air hammer, 18V rotary hammer, and cut faster than my Dasco mason chisel with minimal splaying on the hammer end and almost no visible wear on the cutting end. My arms sure are tired, but the job is done. RIP air hammer and rotary hammer. Going to have to replace those now.
