Silent gear screwdriver

Like the feel in hand the new construction is great quality. Though trouble with the settings of the drive. Have to move it with a delicate touch. Also can't drive in screws fast or it goes back to center setting.

AWESOME

This is one of the best, if not the best, ratcheting screwdrivers I've used. The"silent gear‚", ie gearless mechanism, works flawlessly and immediately. The hidden cartridges in the handle pop out on an angle, making identification and retrieval of stored bits a breeze. The handle also locks securely, so you won't have it separating when applying torque. The bit holder magnet is plenty strong and helps magnetize the bits. Each bit is marked"Gedore‚", a nice touch demonstrative of the overall quality and attention to detail of this ratcheting screwdriver. The bit selection is also nice and suited for automotive repair tasks. Finally, the materials, fit, finish, and feel are all top notch.

In conclusion, it's nothing short or the premium ratcheting screwdriver it aims to be, and is worthy of its price tag.

Whether it will hold up over time remains to be seen, but given Gedore's track record, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt on longevity.
