Gedore 3090 M Extension 3/8" with magnet

I have used this extension with magnet on one occasion, and it had already failed the ball on the extension had became loose and no longer had any spring tension. I contacted KC tool for warranty and they accepted the return and sent a new extension. Thank you for that and for the customer service.

The extension feels solid and well built. It has a nice matte finish to it. The magnet is strong for its size. I like that it can be replaced, as it's held in with a screw. The magnet itself is also on a plunger that can go up and down since it's on spring tension. This is good for accommodating different size bolts, with long or short head lengths.
What I like most is the knurled end that gives you grip. I bought this for the thight and hard to reach areas. This saves me a lot of time from fumbling around and dropping bolts behind the engine and then trying to find them.
It's solid and holds the bolt in place. I simply start it off now using the knurled end to get it hand tight, then I attach a ratchet to finish it off.
I like it and see it a great investment for any tool box.

This little extension is so handy when you need to reach in somewhere with a socket and don't want to lose a bolt. the spring action is nice and smooth and the magnet is strong enough to hold a 1/2 inch x 1 1/2 inch bolt with a lock washer and flat washer with ease.
