Gedore Bottle Opener

Never thought a bottle opener can be so robust. For the money and quality it beats anything from Amazon.

This is a very handy, high quality bottle opener. Fits nicely into a pocket or hangs on the wall.

opener is very compact compared to the other offerings and l appreciate the hole in the handle which makes it convenient to hang on my pegboard, I use this more than any other tool in the shop !, l would like to purchase additional but they always seem to be sold out when I order from KC

This is hard to find and most web sites price it for way more, not here This Gedore was just what I was looking for to add to my collection. Shipping was fast and it really seemed like everyone cared to do the best that they could. Great company.

It's smaller than I expected. If you look at the bottle opener set on this site, you can see it's the smallest of the bunch, but I didn't own any of those to compare it to. That being said, it's super solid and is a nice compact opener.

love everything about this opener. nice smaller size, not too bulky, with a little hole for hanging on a hook if you want. nice hazy finish looks very cool. Clearly marked "made in Germany" on the flip side from the photo. couldn't be better. time to crack open an ice cold weissbier with this bad boy.

overly beefy and solid little bottle opener. Does one thing and does it perfectly. The only issue is I drink too much because I want to use the bottle opener too often. The one improvement would be to add a magnet. Bought small rare earth magnet and glued it on so I can stick on the side of the fridge fridge.

Wish the handle was a bit more ergonomic like the Wera but otherwise a great tool, excellent quality.

I bought this to add to my collection of german tools but i like wera bottle opener better. Ergonomics just dont feel right on this handle type. Finish was a little rough on the opener metal.

This is a ridiculously great bottle opener - not cheap pot metal like most, rather an actual tool. Use it wisely!

I've tested this on MANY beer bottles and can honestly say it opened every one.

What can I say, it was a freebie that was thrown in when I ordered some other tools but I used it for the first time today and it popped the top right off of my glass bottle Coke with no problems

......a magnet so you can attach it to the toolbox!!! Other than that the size is perfect and it works like it should. Quicker than using my teeth to open bottles but doesn't look as cool

Strong steel--takes caps off no problem.

This is a very nice bottle opener, It appears to be forged steel with beautiful bright chrome plating. The finish seems to be the same sandblasted grippe Chrome finish that Gedore uses on their wrenches. The bottle opener is small enough to fit in a pocket but big enough to not get lost in a kitchen drawer. Unlike the other tool brand bottle openers this doesn't look or feel like a gimmick and would't be out of place in a bar opening bottle all day long. It could definitely handle the abuse.

For some reason I was expecting this to be bigger, like the Wiha bottle opener I received last year. Yet the Gedore is smaller, like a slim thoroughbred to the lumbering ox Wiha. Small enough to even qualify for EDC (if I were an itinerant barkeep). This is now my go-to opener for over-hopped hipster craft brews (and my Modelo Negra).

I have the full set of german bottle openers. This is the best. It's light weight but strong. Some of the others have bent with very light use. This one is German quality.

I love tools (great tools) and beer (great beer). I got exactly what I wanted with the Gedore Bottle Opener. I wanted a well-made but smaller size opener that had a hole in the handle so I could pass a knotted nylon cord through and fasten to my YETI cooler. Maybe I'm easy to please but I love this bottle opener.
