Hazet 1802VDE-22 VDE heavy-duty diagonal cutter 180mm

I've been using these for a few weeks now and have been extremely impressed. I purchased these to replace a pair of Klein diagonal cutters that never seemed to hold an edge despite only being used for their intended purpose.

The difference was noticeable immediately. These cutters require very little effort, even during long wiring sessions, and the cuts are consistently clean. The wire ends aren't crushed or deformed after the cut. With some cutters I find myself making a second trim just to clean up the end, but that hasn't been necessary with the Hazets.

The build quality is exactly what I'd expect from Hazet: smooth operation, excellent leverage, and confidence-inspiring construction (German perfection). The VDE insulation is an added benefit for anyone working around electrical systems and provides an extra layer of safety.

They're definitely not cheap, and the price will give most people a heart attack. However, if you do a lot of wiring and want a high-quality insulated cutter that performs as good as it looks, these are worth it. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.
