Knipex CutiX Universal Retractable Knife

Used this knife to cut some thick polyethylene foam and the top-side spine is a game changer when making deep cuts.

Dig this one a lot. Could use a clip but still pretty great

The knife will get damage easily if u use for heavy duty work I used mine for cutting dried sealant when replacing exterior door and the knife metal guide bent and after that it was completely useless.
I had to go to hardwarestore to buy and Olfa knife wich ended the job just fine.

Feels great in the hand, blade feed operates well and I love the backbone slider to strengthen blade while cutting.

Cutting romex with this knife is a breeze.

I wanted something well built, and easier to use than my old Stanly 25mm snap blade. I hated its turn handle lock. This is quick and simple and can be flexible or rigid depending if you use the back support bar.

Like all Knipex tools, this thing is fantastic. It's very light, works great, and the blade stiffener feature is really nice. I already have more than one of these!

Superb retractable utility knife! Sooo much better than my Stanley fatmax 25mm that it replaced.

The utility blade is very nice and sharp. I also like that it's not cheap looking. I don't like the fact that mine didn't have tajima blades it has a blade called Lutz an not as sharp as a Tajima.

A knife very well made and compfortable

Yeah, she was a bit expensive, but wow did I fall in love quick. The retractile stability bar is the best feature. I was able to guide some intricate cuts using my index as a guide. Lightweight magnesium makes the knife feel good in the hand but not overly heavy. My first non-German Knipex tool. Made in Spain.

Well built well designed carton or craft knife. Worth the money.

I use Olfa cutters almost every day as a print artist, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get the CutiX. It sports the classic Knipex sturdy design. The click mechanism is almost hilariously sturdy (and loud!), and the retractable bar stabilizer is great for deep cuts. This was the Knipex tool I didn't know I needed.

This is the nicest utility knife I have used to date. Super sharp out of the box and the rigid spine makes the knife unlike any other on the market today - it allows for flexible cutting and heavier work when you need downward pressure on the knife (when cutting LVP, for example). The knife takes standard 18mm replacement blades. Highly recommended.

This is the snap off knife you would go back to a jobsite to find if you left it behind. Need I say more?

This blade and handle help so much with cutting clear bra and window film for automotive use. I have also used it for cutting out a plastic trim for my wheel well. Will definitely be using more.

This knife is amazing, end of discussion. If you use a knife like this on a regular basis, there is nothing better out there than this. I highly recommend this tool! The build quality is exceptional, as usual for Knipex. It is lightweight for the size of the tool and the grip is awesome.

Finally a utility knife that checks all the boxes from my perspective. I've been looking for a good "pouch utility knife" and haven't been happy with any of them out there. As it's going to live in a pouch on a tool belt, I wanted something longer, doesn't need to fold, a retractable blade would be good, quick to get a sharp blade, and long enough to cut something wider or deeper in a recess. This knife does it all.
