So nice I've bought them twice. Only because I cut a wire that shouldn't have been live and warped the cutting surface. Clearly I'm here to write about the tale and thankful the insulating grip did its thing.

The handles fit the hand very well. Very sharp, will actually cut romex as well as MC cable. Tip is very useful, takes the place of linemans pliers. Highly recommend this tool

These are by far the best strippers I have ever owned. Have used Klein up until now but after using these, will never go back. Just a bummer they are now 30 dollars more expensive because of the trump tariff now.

This tool is a must. Fantastic build quality. Cuts wires like nothing is there and very durable. In fact I purchased 2 of them so I am never with out them in my tool kits.

Excellent Tool! Love using it! Well designed with multiple tools in one, capable of stripping stranded and solid wires. The cutter can accommodate various wire thickness with ease. Gripping leading end is very handy for pulling and for wire nut twisting. Also easy to lock and unlock with either left or right hand.

These are by far my favorite strippers. I have been using them for a couple of years, nothing else works as good. Do yourself a favor and get two pair, because someone will try to permanently borrow them and you will hate your old Kleins or Milwaukee until your next order of these come in.

Really love these. They're super smooth and the pliers are much better than a set of strippers I used to use from another company. These pliers are wide enough to twist wire properly. The lock also works really well and so doe sthe cutter!

I love Knipex. I use many different sets of pliers of different kinds. Recently I added these to the mix after (finally) losing my last pair of Klein wire strippers in an attic.

As wire strippers, these are fantastic. As cutters, these are fantastic. As twisters of wires and makers of joints…not quite as fantastic.

They work fine in that regard, to get me wrong. But they lack the integrity of a pair of linesman's (which Knipex makes very well). If I'm working light, I'll use the strippers for joints. But I could also easily use my linesman's for strippers in that case. So it's really just picking which job you want to do a better job with.

To give a bit of a fox to the commenter that reckons Klein makes better tools because his strippers wouldn't open up all the way, just loosen the bolt there a small bit (very small bit) and they're perfect. Open well and can easily be opened and closed.

All in all, these are a solid tool by an excellent company. Not their best. But useful. Especially in a pinch.

For context, I'm a service electrician.

This tool fits the hand well, is sharp, and removes insulation cleanly without leaving chewed ends on the insulation. It's right sized and minimizes the effort needed!
I would recommend to others and buy again if I needed to replace!

These strippers chipped 5 minutes out of the box cutting MC. You have to open the cutting blades very far to get even the smallest of wire between them but it doesn't matter now as one of the blades has chipped off.

One of the gripping jaws is uneven leaving a wide/wider gap between the jaws on one end. This is German manufacturing??

They strip well and that is about it. Worth maybe 20$. Save yourself a headache and buy Klein 2000 series. Best in THE WORLD and nothing compares.

My Klein 2000 series linemans, dykes, and needle nose have cut ceiling wire, nails, screws, mc, bx, chicken wire, wraploc, and there is not a single burr or chip on any of my Klein 2000 series pliers. Still cutting copper like butter.

Knipex is great for low voltage techs, weekend warriors, and social media weirdos. That's about it.

I have used the Klein version and promptly went back to using 3 different tools. I hated it. On a whim, I bought this tool. It is my go-to for work. My only issue is that I do a lot of low volt work and would like smaller qire gauges. Down to 28 gauge.

I've had this product for over a year and they never fail to amaze me. The quality is second to none, be able to cleanly cut up to 1awg is a bonus as well. Love them will never use another stripper on a commercial job.
