Bottle opener Collector

Cool bottle opener to add to collection. KC tool customer service was also great sending me a replacement for one that was slightly damaged.

Picard Novelty Tool

I bought this on a lark, since most of the beer I drink these days comes in cans.

It's on the pegboard in my shed, and I've found the hammer end has enough mass to actually knock in a tack or two, and the claw is strong enough for light prying.

Makes a nice conversation piece!

Best gag hammer

Bought it for the apprentice who is always "drunk" and he says it's a great bottle opener!

Does what is supposed to

It does a great job at opening bottles but if not the quality I expected, the hammer head appears to be hot glued on and it flexes effect you open a bottle. It even had paint chips before I even used it. No where near the quality of the wera opener I have.

Handy

This is different can open those cold beers. And could be used as rescue tool if a sharp edge was put on it.

picard bottle opener

aesthetically challenged, appears to have a missing/broken claw, still might be capable of driving or removing a small nail but it does a GREAT job opening a bottle of beer.!

Hammer/Bottle opener

Very cool for a bottle opener but not sure of the quality of the handle

O.K. for free

Glad I got this for free as a promotion. I get it that the broken claw is supposed to be a gag, but the handle is not solid all the way through, the orange plastic flexes so much it is probably going to snap. Obviously not nearly the same quality as Picard's real hammers, my Wiha bottle opener is 10x more skookum.

So cool!

Clearly, this is the most exciting product for sale at KCTools. My 4 year even used the hammer end to get some work done while I sat back and popped tops!

Flaschenöffner

the only downside is it's too small to do any real damage.

Bottle opener or mini hammer ........?
Mini hammer

For a bottle opener it's pretty much a mini hammer. EDC

Picard

Founded in Wuppertal in 1857, Picard has embraced specificity. A quick browse through their catalog reveals one or more hammers specific to seemingly any trade that would have a need for a simple striking tool. Despite the fact that many of these designs have not remarkably changed over decades and even centuries, Picard has managed to refine and improve upon many of these hammers through the use of modern machinery, materials, and developments in alloying and heat treatment of metals. Entire sections of their catalog are devoted to tools for individual trades such as roofing, carpentry, cabinetmaking, metal working of all types, and even blacksmithing and farriery. Picard has also embraced current advances in ergonomics, creating designs that are lighter, quieter in use and more forgiving to joints and muscles in the course of everyday work.
