Outstanding Extension

Probably the best locking extension made, works perfectly with all brands of sockets and ratchets.

Straight and tight fitting

This extensionfits all my 3/8" sockets securely, including Wera, SK, Heyco, Gedore, and Proto. The ball detent hold the socket with almost no slop. The shaft is stroight, and the tool is well finished as you'd expect from a Shahlwille tool. I recommend this for anybody needing a long and secure extension.

I got tired of fighting to get smaller sockets off my regular ratchet , so needed a quick release...

Excellent

The design of the locking mechanism is such that it will actually work with other brands of sockets (at least, what I have around, like SK). I've encountered other brands that don't work with different sockets, like Wera, which are also very difficult to operate. The Stahlwille operates easily.

Loved the 1/4‚" so I knew I would love the 3/8‚" and 1/2‚" versions. The 1/4‚" used a locking hole in the female end but the 3/8‚" and 1/2‚" extensions are notched in the female end
