This length, the lock feature and the flawless Wera quality combined make this very useful.

Great combination with Zyklop ratchet and Wera sockets. Haven't had any issues with my old Craftsman sockets either.

Great locking mechanism and easy to spin with sleeve!

Strong and durable except for the locking button/feature. The locking feature wears out extremely quickly under regular use, leaving sockets attached to rusty nuts on reciprocating aircraft exhaust stack flanges. The buttons stick out too far that in close quarters work it with hit adjacent objects and unlock it. Not well suited to tight working quarters or aircraft maintenance from my experience. I can even pull sockets off with it "locked" with my bare hands, and my Gedore locking extensions do not do this. Will NOT be buying this again.

This extension is the perfect size to drop in my Wera Zykop Mini kit. The extension has a knurled end to facilitate twisting the extension itself for speed. It also has a free spinning sleeve that makes it easy to keep aligned. The best feature, though, is the locking end. You can lock a socket on the end and it will NOT come off until you unlock it.
