Wera 003597 Repair kit for Zyklop ratchet head, 3/8"

I bought this incase head strips in my 3/8 inch ratchet. It has not happened, but at price paid I could not afford not to have backup!

Simple fix for an over worked tool.

It's nice that this comes with everything you need to replace your ratchet head. I had somehow managed to lose one of the screws…must've loosened up and fell out. The only reason not giving it five stars is that the ratcheting action seems a little notchy, like a cheap dollar store ratchet. Still works, just not as smooth as the original. It's almost like the inside is not lubricated or something. Maybe it just needs time to break in. Time will tell.

This ratchet repair kit is sturdy, easy to install and high quality. The instructions are clear. Don't take shortcuts when you replace a ratchet head. In this case, you should heat the retaining screws as instructed (instead of manhandling them off). -- Buy a spare repair kit and you'll never be caught off guard when your ratchet head (inevitably) starts to jump.
