Wera 051482 Rapidaptor Bitholding Screwdriver Handle

This has been used hundreds of times for my handyman work. It functions just as well as it did new. The pop-out telescoping feature has come in handy many times. It feels a little loose, but the robustness speaks for itself.

Holds onto bits tightly, a nifty gadget.

Locks the bits in place, no wobble at all. The extendable shaft is a nice feature and very solid feeling. It is possible to launch the shaft if you push down the collar far enough. Not really something that you would do accidentally, but it is possible. Still a very nice tool.

When I first saw the handle design I thought it was stupid. But when it arrived and I picked it up for the first time, it all made perfect sense. The tolerances are relatively tight and the bit holder holds bits nice and tight. One thing that could be improved would be the detent to allow the sliding extension to retract again could be a bit smoother. However it's largely improved by just spraying WD40 in it and letting it sit overnight. All in all a good tool

This handle checks all of the boxes. Great grip, check. Excellent bit holder, check. Extendable, check. Magnetic, check.

You really have to hold a Wera handle to appreciate how good the ergonomics. My son was jealous when I received mine, so he got one in his Christmas stocking.

I admit a strong bias toward Wera tools. I find their screwdrivers to be the best (at least among the best) in the world. They feel just right in the hand and offer total control and comfort. This bit holding screwdriver brings things to the next level. The bit holder has a unique clamp/release function assuring easy insertion and removal, but holds the bit with an iron grip when using. Add in the fact that a press if the green trim extends the bit holder. Stop reading reviews, and just buy this. You will not regret it.

Awesome tool. Love the rapidadaptor. Was surprised at how little wiggle there is when the blade is in the extended position.

This is one handy bit driver, the telescoping shaft is easy to extend and the rapidaptor holds bits securely. A great addition to my toolbox.

Works flawlessly. The extension is stored in the handle so no extra space is taken up. Feels good in the hand and feels like it is well made.

I use the ratchet version of his everyday and decided to try this one as I don't actually use the ratchet feature thaat much. Very surprised at how much I prefer this bit holder. Handle is slightly slimmer and very light weight, most of the time I use the rapid adapter but I really like the option of removing it and installing a long bit if I'm going to be using the same size for a while

i have bought security bits and a screwdriver from another company. The Bit holding screwdriver broke, so i was left with bits. Heard nothing but good thing about Wera so i bought this. I love it, the ability to change the length, quick change of bits. Bits never fall out, its super sturdy. I accidently dropped it from a 20ft ladder and it survived! if you use bit screwdrivers buy this.

Very good tool, the only thing it's that the handle is very small like I feel you can't grab it and turn it to tighten up really hard because it's small

The Wera bit holding handle has quickly ranked up to being part of my edc! I'm lost with out it;) it's high quality and won't let you down. Definitely worth the money

the extension also comes out and locks into a drill or impact driver. the adaptor also holds bits wonderfully this is a great driver hander

At first, I thought this bit holder would be like most, but when my tools arrived, I did a close inspection and I can honestly say, this is one well made, well designed handle. Nice features, very well made.

I was looking for some good tools and I believe I have found them. They appear to be really well made, only time will tell.
