Wera 133180 Hex + Ball End Hex SAE L-key Clip Set (Retail Package)

This hex key set will remove and install fasteners without rounding the heads off. Good product, nice packaging, superb price. I like that the metric and sae sets come in different colors, making it easy to pull the right set out of your tool bag.

This is my second Wera product, with the first being their multibit driver. The quality of these L Keys from the L Keys to the packaging are fantastic. Wera knows how to make a quality product and make the customer feel like the product is worth the price they pay for it. I've only used these briefly but when I did the ball end on these Hex Keys were great. You can tighten fasteners in some goofy spots because of the ability to angle the keys with ball. I'd recommend them to anyone, especially when they are on sale.

At about $10 this is a steal. Great set of keys, the ball end let's you achieve angled fastening and the set is complete and comes with a great holder.

A true innovation from Wera, Hex-Plus is a new gold standard. KC Tool's sales are unbeatable and so is their Customer Support. They listen, take immediate action, and are kind while doing so! After a coating of Ballistol, the keys now move smoothly inside the holder, and the switch opens much easier too. Also, the real difference with the Retail Packaging SKU is the sweet Wera Tool Rebel sticker included in the box.

These L-keys are almost perfect, but the length on the largest 4 sizes are 5mm longer than stated in the length specifications on the box. This isn't worth impacting the review negatively, but perhaps worth mentioning. The bottom alignment of the largest keys is not staggered like the main product's 3D model shows. The quick video provided below by KC Tool shows the mentioned length variance. This is also shown in other store's product listings and photo reviews. Wera seems to use CAD models in some product images, which accounts for the near-perfect appearance. KC Tool's hands-on videos are invaluable when learning what to expect from a product.

Overall, I agree with other Reviewer's ratings. These tools are legendary quality. The Metric and Imperial sets seem to go on sale often at KC Tool, making such excellent quality tools affordable. Consider the complete Imperial 13-piece set depending on your needs. I don't find the plastic handled versions to be worth over double the price I paid because these are so capable. Since there's still nothing better or even equal to Wera Hex-Plus, they earn a 5-star review.
