stinky

This is my first time trying Ballistol and while I am so far impressed with its capabilities, good lord this stuff smells so bad. Like licorice and old mushrooms and death. The smell does seem to dissipate over time, but still... I can't imagine I would want any of my tools or firearms to smell like this ever. Maybe I'll use it on gate hinges or things that are exclusively outdoors.

A Must Have

Great for protecting tools in environments with moisture. Oil sticks to tools for days and you can really feel the difference.

Ballistol

Developed in 1904 by Friedrich Klever and his son, Dr. Helmut Klever, Ballistol has become widely known as a universal lubricant, cleaner and protectant. Available both as an aerosol or liquid, it is not affected by temperature extremes, is non-toxic and non-irritating to the skin. Ballistol can be used to lubricate and protect most metals, as well as to preserve and clean leather, rubber and many plastics. With all of these uses and many more, Ballistol has a place in every home, workshop and maintenance kit.
