Knipex 6.3" Needle-Nose Pliers (Gripping Pliers) - Plastic Grip

Sturdy built. Comfortable grip. I guess they have their place but not in my industry. I have theses and the 40 degree needle nose. Neither one has teeth to grip the item that I need them to.

I use these to grip and pull small wires when doing security installations.

These are a nice set of needle nose pliers. Some things that I want to note is that the handles are pretty smooth operating, without any slop. When they open to the max they have a slight stick which is actually a nice feature when using since they are spring loaded handles. The jaws and tips are pretty precise, but don't expect to be able to use the very tips to pull splinters or anything. They have a slight gap in the very front, but I believe this is on purpose as they are meant to run parallel when slightly open (while gripping the workpiece). I can attest to the metal and heat treat as far as torqueing goes. Try not to torque but sometimes you got to a little. I bent these while twisting decently hard and they returned right back to home position. Just as tight and precise as before. So it's good to know they are tough but flex back. 4 stars because the jaws had all sorts of small burrs.

Very useful and overall I am very satisfied with these. Note that the tips might be a little more useful to me if serrated, since I am finding I use these often to grab and pull things from small recessed places.

They're so sharp and precise, but also still let you get a really strong grip. Almost like a nice mix between the precision of tweezers and the strength of pliers.

Working in the small engine industry as a mechanic, I needed some really thin pliers that won't damage fuel lines and small wires. These fit every criteria, and are good at expanding fuel line as well for a snug fit. Couldn't ask for anything else.

Nice for picking up little pieces and got them at a good price

There should be a 6 star rating available, these would have it. The fit and finish on these is PERFECT. The tip of the tips are the first thing to make contact and as you continue to gently squeeze, the flats of the needle jaws continue to make contact all the way back down toward the pivot. The action is solid without any play. These are fantastic and exactly what needle-nose pliers should be and nothing more.

nice right angle edges for bending wires. smooth, feel good in the hand. no complaints!

Pliers are excellent quality and work great for getting into right places.

These are nice and pointy for tight spots . Good grip , solid feel . High quality pliers.

Non-serrated jaws allow you to be delicate with fine, detailed work.

I thought these were more like traditional needle nose pliers with teeth cut into them. That was my bad though, I should have looked more carefully. I decided to hang onto them anyway. They have a very slender profile and the smooth jaws wont harm any sensitive small parts.

These are by far the best gripping pliers I've used. So far I haven't found anything from Knipex that wasn't outstanding-Everything Knipex is awesome!

These pliers have perfect functionality and simple design with no monkey business. The finish is not perfect in places though - a few minor burrs here and there on some corners. I have heard the chrome versions tend to have better finish, but it will be easy enough to touch up the finish on my cheaper model.

I use these for holding wires in place while tightening terminal screws. Great little pliers.
